Hi there. Yes, it’s okay! The question asks for “disadvantages,” but you don’t need to list multiple. As long as you address at least one and explain why the advantages outweigh it, your essay remains valid. Quality of argument matters more than quantity! In the sample essay it mention 2 advantges and just one disadvantge.

This essay will argue that the advantages of this outweigh the drawbacks. The essay will first demonstrate that the earlier someone learns an additional language, the more likely they are to master it and that it brings added cognitive benefits, followed by an analysis of how the primary disadvantage, namely confusion with their native tongue, is not valid.

My question is: is it okay to mention only one disadvantage, whereas in question it say disadvangtes?

This essay will argue that the advantages of this outweigh the drawbacks. here it says disavantages but only mention one disadvantage in paragraph 2 ?
