Hi there. In IELTS Writing Task 2, you should aim to present ideas and explanations objectively, without sounding too opinionated or speculative. When you say something like “as people can’t save up due to lower salaries,” you’re explaining the reason behind a situation, but it’s not quite the same as providing a personal opinion on why it’s happening.
