This is expected of me for migration. However, in my last exam I have an overall Band 6 which I took last December. Well due to circumstances, I skipped the preparation ,but beginning from march I’ve started preparation and I wish to take the exam in no shortest time. To be realistic, reading and writing is the main challenge that I need to tackle right now. Strategies to combat them along with other papers is deeply appreciated.

I tried to simulate 2 different strategies in my reading practice;

Option 1: Skim the questions, understand the main points, fast-read the passages, answer the questions.

Option 2: Skim the questions, note what it requires, skip reading the passages, search and find related answers to the questions.

Result for option 1: Averaged btw bands 7.5 and 8.
Result for option 2: From band 7.5, I kept failing and averaged band 6.

Now I know what strategy to apply.

QS: Can I detach the passage/sheets from the staple pins so I do not need to be flipping across pages to match questions with passage/paragrahs.
